January // The Children of Gaza
— Silence is devastating and, as such, images take on a new value. The process of creating a drawing based on this reality is difficult, but being aware of it is even harder. It’s was a gesture of support for the Palestinian people, a show of affection and visibility. This drawing is based on a video taken on 6/11/23 by @motaz_azaiza , of one of the thousands of children affected by this genocide.
