Memories
The loss of a loved one is one of the greatest trials one must ever face. Even though we can no longer see or touch them, this person can continue to live on in our hearts and memories in a delicate "presence-absence." And that is precisely what I wanted to represent in this commissioned illustration, where two sisters continue to live together with the memory of their mother who is no longer with them.
