Unique maps to find art in San Francisco's Mission District
    Published:
The Way Out West show, present by Hello Art City, was an art exhibition that took over advertising throughout San Francisco's Mission District. Intead of ads, people were shown art  (http://helloartcity.com/wayoutwest/)

To find the artwork, we printed maps and distributed them around local shops. We Risographed the designs onto makeready, in an attempt to make them as unique and eye-catching as possible. Makeready is used by printers to test out prints and make sure the design and ink are appearing as expected. After a few prints, makeready can obtain a beautiful texture of accidents that cannot be duplicated. We thought this would be the perfect vehicle for an art-seeking excursion that places a unique piece of art in each person's hand.
