Breuer Display Typeface is a font inspired by the pioneering chair designs of Marcel Breuer. Breuer's modernist principles in chair design embody minimalist, functional, and aesthetically striking features. Breuer Display Typeface reflects these design principles in the forms of its letters.
Drawing inspiration from Marcel Breuer's designs, I created a modern and contemporary typeface. The simplicity, functionality, and geometric forms I observed in Breuer's chairs formed the basis of my typeface. I paid attention to details to ensure the letters are aesthetically appealing while also considering functionality. As a result, Breuer Display Typeface represents a modern style while being designed as an easy-to-use and functional font.
