Jellyfish Jamboree

Jellyfish Jamboree is a museum concept project by Marisa Wilkins and Melia Larson. The museum exhibit would be about different species of jellyfish, their anatomy, lifecycles, environment, diets, and other information.
For the logo we wanted to somehow incorporate a jellyfish, but not necessarily overwhelming compared to the text.
For the final logo, we settled on focusing mainly on type and the font. We then added the jellyfish for a little additional interest and to help balance things out a bit.
The title wall would be the first section of the exhibit that the guest would see. We wanted it to be visually interesting for each angle you approach it, and clearly portray what the exhibit would be about.
For one of the indoor environments, we wanted to focus on moon jellyfish and their lifecycle. We planned on incorporating tanks full of moon jellyfish and illustrated diagrams to help explain the lifecycle of the moon jellies.
For the outdoor environment, we wanted to do a wall takeover advertisement with both photos and illustrations. We used a bubble shape to hold the logo and filled the rest of the wall with illustration aspects from the rest of the branding.
