There are always limitations in working on a client’s website in implementing our ideas. The aim of this website was to have a platform for myself for implementing my ideas and experiment new technologies in the best way without interference from any one. So I started developing a community website for my favorite actor Mr. Mohanlal. I am proud that it is one of the leading websites among Malayalam movie
industry which have around 9000 registered members and about 25000 to 40000 visitors per
month.
- Re launched website in 2010
- Designed the entire look and feel of site using Photoshop, Illustrator and Fireworks
- Web 2.0 based table less HTML coding.
- Used the latest ASP.net frame work 4.0 with backend MYSQL 5.1 (including triggers)
- Extensive use of JQUERY and Ajax for various functionalities.
- Implemented self developed modules for Discussion Forums, Scrapbook, User login &
communication, online polls and Newsletters.
- Use of IIS7 URL Rewrite module for SEO
- Recently developed an ADOBE AIR application for members to access latest news from their
desktop.
- Implemented FaceBook modules for like and share posts and presently working on API to
implement FaceBook sign on.
