UXUI Project for Montebello Rebrand

UX/UI Project - Montebello App
The main aim of this project was to create a mobile site for Montebello Design Centre by using Adobe XD. By taking our ready-made design elements in the rebranding of Montebello, we were required to develop a new look and feel that speaks with our unique target market.
Rationale:
•To design a website that is legible and easy to navigate for the target market.
•Create a fresh new look that speaks to our unique rebrand.
•Lastly, to make the secret experience feel special!
To start off the research reasoning behind the website design, I chose a colour scheme and layout that matches my rebrand theme of italian roots moving towards a modern look. This means that the usage of typography is specifically chosen as serif fonts as the headings, while sans serif fonts were used as the body text.
Furthermore, I kept in tact the nature theme of colours that further enhanced the target market’s exotic, yet secret experience.
In terms of layout and content, the main focus is shopping. Since the target market are people who visit Montebello and use their services regurlarly, it makes sense to move the website towards the shopping theme. The shopping theme includes featured items that are on sale, bookings and contact information. The rest of the categories are kept in the drop down menu-such as about, traders and visitors info. With this in mind, navigating between the common categories is easier instead of having everything in one long list format(as seen in the current Montebello website).
Therefore, the final product is the best solution to answer the regurlar visitor as the target market.
