In the heart of the Olive groves of Turkish Canakkale a food forest project was held in the autumn of 2013, the rainwater harvesting earthworks included 2 Hugelkultured swales, dversion swale, checkdams, terraced spillway, dry-stone terraces, seed balls for planting and a natural wooden fence. All were handmade, by WWOOFers and enthusatic friends.

Although the project didn't meet the forseen design due to technical obstacles which prevented the continuation it still worth sharing with those who the project had an impact on them and they had a great impact on it. As well with those who might be inspired from it.
