I was inspired to do this piece after scrolling through so many shared quotes on artistic backgrounds on my Facebook page. 

 

It's interesting to me, the pyschology that seems to say that if it's some kind of quote done with nice typography over a beautiful backdrop that somehow it's supposed to really, REALLY mean something... be "profound," as I put it. I'm guilty of sharing such quotes myself, to be honest.

 

This was my way of putting things in perspective and bringing things back to reality.

 

By all means, please DO share this. I really hope it does get around the social media universe and it gives some people some smiles and reminds us all to not take everything we see as gospel.
