WORK IN PROGRESS | Lone Star Bull is an acrylic painting done on traditional stretched canvas. Lone Star Bull is a commissioned project for a good friend of mine. Underneath Lone Star Bull is the remains of a different bull themed painting. Halfway through the original painting, I made the decision to start over. I realized my portions were off. My colors weren't blending the way I wanted them too. Frustrations were growing, I felt it was going to be more work to fix these errors this rather than start over. Despite multiple sets of advice to continue the original painting, I held my ground. Thus, Lone Star Bull was created.
