PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Cubic is a innovative table lamp developed for the public and private.
Its main feature is the level of interaction with minimun two users.  
Thanks to a dedicated electronic system, the lamp is structured with three illuminated faces desiged for interact in various way with users.
Two lateral faces lights up when there is the presence of a body in front of them. 
At this point the upper faces lights up automatically, but the volume of light increases or descreases with the tone of sounds around the lamp.
This  carachteristic creates a level of interaction: when two users speaks to each other the lamp can convert their tone into volume of light. 
This gives an ironic aspect to the artifact, using light as something always moving and changing in time. 

 
PRODUCT USE

1  When both users sit in front of the lamp, the upper face turns on. This lamp is designed to create a mood/an atmosphere.

A basic requirement to use properly this product is to be at least two users.

2  The lamp is programmed  to capture the voices of the two users and not noises in the enviroment. Voice level is converted to a pre-set layer of light that gradually increase or decrease following voices.
 
3  When users go away the lamp is programme to turn off gradually the two lateral faces and the upper face.
