Concept
„Non-gloomy Death“ was what I had in mind while illustrating this collection of Christian von Aster‘s humorous and sensitive short stories around death and dying.
The aim was to represent the essence of each story in a single small illustration, teasers without spoilers, as these would be used as divider pages between stories.
The illustrations are executed digitally in a fun, reduced black and white style befitting the not-so-grim-reapers in this collection. I contributed 14 illustrations and the cover illustration to the project.
