FIRST ANIMATION PROJECT: CAROLINE
"The ultimate aspire of an artist is to die in the spotlight" _Trac Thuy Mieu
This animation named "Caroline", which is the name of a influencing model in the past, whose life was screaming color with applause and money. She loves spotlight, she loves stages, she loves performances until one day she finds out that she is just a tool all for nothing but people's entertainment and sexual satisfaction. Her journey started from that point.
Taken inspiration from the art style of Rubberhose in the Roaring 20s, I wanted to do something fashionably modern but also able to lead the viewers back to the past years of Jazz Swing. I found out the personality of Betty Boop was so ideal for my project during researching so I decided to make some tribute to that character as well.
