STARFACE: Ad Campaign

STARFACE
Concept Art
This project focused on “stars”.
Being in the product’s name and shape, our team thought to utilize this theme for the overall concept to garner attention.
We drew viewers into the mystery and intrigue of the stars. The aim was to drive the product itself.
Copy
I took the initiative to create a billboard version and lead the approach for the copy on the Web Design Ad. Considering that most viewers tend to ignore web ads, I followed an aggressive approach with the message, aiming to grab the attention of unsuspected viewers.

I explained to my team that the message would only offend those who most needed it. Our aim was for the copy to remain memorable, stir up conversation and lead to conversion. We brainstormed the copy for the Web for a while and decided to take a walk to clear our minds and create space to ponder and converse.
After returning from the walk, we brainstormed more before finally landing on an idea & finalizing the copy.
Roles
We divided the work on the design among ourselves while continuously shifting it around for review and editing.
While I worked on the magazine and billboard design, the billboard was solely my effort. Additionally, I shot all the photographs for the final assets.
In Summary
Collaboration was pivotal in achieving success in our project, enabling us to stay focused on agreed concepts and themes.
When we faced creative blocks, we realized attempting to force ideas or inspiration often proves unproductive when facing a creative block.

Instead, taking a break from the current environment and stepping away from the screen can help provide a fresh perspective.

By allowing oneself to step back and see the bigger picture,
It becomes possible to return to the task with renewed clarity and even greater insights than before.
