Las manos de los hombres iletrados trata historia de la escritura a mano en Inglaterra, desde la época medieval hasta la actualidad, y explora cómo la escritura a mano ha evolucionado con el tiempo.
Desde Times New Roman y Helvetica hasta Comic Sans.
El libro presenta relatos acerca de la creación y evolución de algunos de los tipos de letra más populares, al mismo tiempo que explora cómo estos son empleados como herramientas de poder y expresión.
