Print Ads and Assets - RSM

Like digital ads, designing advertisements for print entails a strong understanding of the target audience and the ad’s overall objective. I created the ads below while being mindful of design principles such as hierarchy, readability, balance and contrast. The end goal of these ads is to convey important information, create a connection with the audience and reinforce the brand’s identity.
This is a two-sided flyer designed to be a handout at career fairs. There is blank space on both sides to add current open positions at the company. Through the use of brand colors and images of actual employees and students, I wanted to give prospective employees a general overview of the program and what it is like working there.
This letter-size refrigerator magnet was designed to quickly show the schedule of math competitions throughout the academic year. The green bars and boxes containing the grades, competition names and dates break the information into easy-to-understand blocks where the viewer can find the information they need at a glance.
This printed flyer can easily be customized depending on the program. By changing the headline, image, body copy and information at the bottom of the page, this flyer is a versatile piece that can promote classes for spring, summer, fall or online.
The three ads below are print ads for various publications. For all three, the same design principles apply - creating a dynamic layout that combines text and image, draws the viewer's eye across the page, and highlights the most key information.
This is a full-page ad designed for a local publication. The magazine is published both in print and online, so designing a format that worked across both formats was a top priority.
Like the ad above, this ad is published in a magazine that has both a printed and online format. Keeping in mind the size requirements, the main objective of this ad was to create an eye-catching layout that called out the branch locations and the message that classes are now enrolling.
