LES Skate Park
I used to live right across the street from the Lower East Side Skate Park. Each time I passed by, I was reminded of the days when landing a kickflip and enjoying an ice cold soda was the only concern in my life. Those were the days when fear and inhibition didn't exist yet, and falling on your face while trying to learn a new trick was the norm. Persistence over perfection. Jump higher, push harder, go faster. To push the limits and live life by your own rules, but secretly knowing that there are no rules to begin with.
Kudos to those fearless warriors.
