I hear this advice frequently, to make art for yourself, to make the art you want to bring into the world, make the type of work you want to get. I love making these types of illustrations of the great outdoors, which could be used for so many things, greeting cards, postcards, stickers, book covers, picture books, art prints and so much more.

 I illustrated these 2-sided zines as a thumbnail experiment to work out some ideas brewing in my imagination. I think they make great inspiration for a fun watercolor series!
