With this project, I designed a book which explores and compares the traditions of Halloween both in modern day and its earliest origins from Pagan practices of the festival. Areas of this exploration investigates the origin of superstitions, games, activities, beliefs and rituals that construct associations toward the annual festival within modern culture. In addiion to this, the book highlights how modern culture is beginning to dilute these through factors such as commercialism and Christianity that ultimately have iriversably changed how the festival is practiced.
