Through this project, I try to document my daily cookie finds around the streets of Cairo. Recording every local/authentic/tacky/kitschy/ contradictory element I encounter, while putting emphasis on the Egyptian pop/design cultures and the subliminal messages carried between their lines; reflecting the Cairenes’ ongoing battles with self- image, self-expression and many other societal issues. <3
