My Work
Logo designs where created with the intention of advertising to specific groups with personal interests that align with the brand

After conversation with the owner of 'Wist' he informed me of his idea of conveying an underground and 90s rave aesthetic for his promotions and pictures. Using old digital cameras pocket cameras such as the Canon D60 and different effects through Adobe Premier Pro and After effects helped me achieve his vision

The marketing behind the brand 'Tears of Dreams' is what I personally love about fashion communication. Possibly due to the brand being smaller there is no explanations for the marketing leaving it all the the consumer to decipher a message. I believe the imagery is a social commentary on recycled clothing and a wider conversation on necessity of clothing rather than status or design. There have been many photos taken of people from deprived areas wearing comical, political and luxury pieces without knowing the meaning or message behind them, rather having the item for status it becomes a necessity . That's what i love about this campaign with zero words and just imagery it allows the consumer to create there own understanding.

Why I would Like To Study at the University of West England
Up on visiting for an open day Bristol as a city enthralls me with its lively artist environment. I believe this course with UWE would benefit me in many ways and kick-start my career working in the fashion industry. From someone coming into this course with no formal education on the subject, reading into your course specifics the modules appeal to me a lot with the first year being an introduction that would allow me to learn the fundamentals, while still allowing me to create professional pieces and some written work that appeal to employers which would be created in the later years. Along with this after doing my research on work that the students have created through the course's Instagram page it has inspired me to believe this is the environment I would like to learn in.

I believe a Bachelor's Degree in this course can benefit me in so many different ways as it would give me the tools to mix my creativity with industry marketing and strategy techniques and the degree would be evidence that I fully understand and can use this to mine and others benefit as it is proof of my ability, alongside the portfolio I would build during my time on the course.

Through my time at the University of West England, I aim to gain tons of hands-on experience, a vast portfolio, and develop connections within the industry. As a result, after the course finishes I will have a vast knowledge of the subject with work proving my ability and hopefully allow me to have a successful career.
