Samcheong dong, is a hilly area in Jongno filled with art galleries ,restaurants and shops. It is iconic for it’s hilly road with stacked buildings and is so beautiful during Autumn time.

located on the north of Jongno and East of Gyeongbukgung palace, the Hanok villages behind the scenery here have been preserved by the local government, especially as this is the centre of Seoul. It definitely challenged my observational skills in terms of perspective and I did my best to capture the beauty of this area. I think this is definitely an area you need to visit for you travellers out there!

During the pandemic however, this area was heavily affected and a few restaurants I had visited before were closed down (hopefully temporarily) so the businesses in this image may or may not be there anymore. We can hope! Visit Samcheongdong!
