Enrique Primo ruled over Ezilat until he was overthrown by Ilir. Enrique Primo was not a pleasant person. He governed with cruelty, initiated wars for his own benefit, and was greedy for power. Therefore, when a new contender for the throne emerged in the lands of Ezilat, the people sided with the foreigner.
A contemporary of Enrique Primo wrote:
"The new ruler gave me hope, a glimpse into a foggy future. It seemed to me that in the world where Enrique Primo ruled, there was no place for honor, honesty, and justice. I witnessed many manifestations of all the Primo corruption in Ezilat, even in my own father (a commander, a general), so when Ilir appeared, I suddenly saw that only this new man for Ezilat could change everything..."
