PR for Converse Rubber Tracks Brazil
Converse Inc. launched in January 2014 the first edition of Converse Rubber Tracks in Brazil. The project provided pop-up studios in Rio de Janeiro and in Sao Paulo, so local musicians could have the opportunity to record for free in a state-of-the-art music studio. Applicants were able to register online for a chance at one of each studio’s 14 free spots to record original music under the guidance of expert technicians.
In this project I contributed working with PR activities, promoting the event in Brazil. The most important achiviement is that in the first weeks of work, Converse received a global record of 775+ submissions from aspiring musicians and bands throughout Brazil.
This Brazil edition of Converse Rubber Tracks marked the highest registration number of any international pop-up, showcasing a well-orchestrated PR strategy and the enthusiasm across the nation for this installment.
