You may be wondering why this simple clip made in house with my cat is in my portfolio. Well, what started out as an HDMI cable test, checking out if that snake is capable of transporting ProRes Raw 60p signal from my Lumix Camera to the external recorder, turned out to be a very cool metallic look obtained via a bleach bypass process in DaVinci Resolve. The smooth motion, slightly slowed down from 30p to a 24p (80% speed) timeline, the color isolation made possible by shooting at a higher bit depth (12bit) and the majestic presence of the cat paired nicely with the voice of a very powerful man and an inspiration to me, Henry Kissinger.
