Instalaciòn Easd Zamora (2013)

Workshop of experimental construction
Practice about an exposition for the 30th anniversary of the  School of Arts and Design of Zamora
The installation is composed by vertical elements changing shape and orientation trough the space.
The floor is a square of 300x300 cm, with two rounded corners. Also the horizontal section of the vertical elements is squared at the beginning, and then it becames a circle. They are located in order to leave space for a path for visitors.

Going toward one direction, the vertical elements begin to move, doing curves and turning by themselves, in order to create organic shapes.
How to built it?
On a wooden base are set the internal structures of the vertival elements, those are malleable iron grids.
On the grid is set paper to model. The texture are set by pasting printed paper on that, and then putting a clearcoat to give the appearence of a painted texture.
Textures take their colors from the neutral colors of the church. At the beginning they are similar to the stones and there not contrasts. Then there are leather textures (elements with organic shapes), with more contrasts of color.
