Open Government Awards – 2023 The Open Government Partnership (OGP) is an organization of reformers inside and outside of government working to transform how government serves its citizens.
In 2011, government leaders and civil society advocates came together to create a unique partnership to promote transparent, participatory, inclusive and accountable governance. Today OGP includes 75 countries and 104 local governments – representing more than two billion people – and thousands of civil society organizations.
The main goal of this award project was to acknowledge the diversity and strength of the Open Government movement, recreating the logo of OGP in 3D. Glass as a material was perfect to resonate with one of the key objectives of the Partnership - transparency.
It was a very special project for me to work on, not just because of the ideas and values of OGP. It was doubly special as the award ceremony took place in Tallinn, Estonia, where I have studied as an Erasmus-scholar at the Estonian Academy of Arts in 2013.
