The aim of this investigation is to confront viewers with issues raised during the protests occurring throughout
Brazil in June 2013. The main issues include: poor healthcare / education infrastructure, bus fare increases, corruption and the financial spending in preparation for the World Cup. The project explored different visual approaches to inform viewers of the posed issues while analyzing how design can serve as a tool to shock, instigate and intervene in the community. The objective is to incite ideas that can potentially be turned into actions for a better community.
