Medication Artifact

2016
Medication Artifact is an installation in a glass vitrine which features 42 empty mental health medication bottles and notecards from 26 participants. The participants were instructed to write about their experience with their medication and their thoughts on mental health in general. The installation was initially displayed at the Greensboro Project Space, an experimental art space which is part of the University of North Carolina Greensboro, as part of the Taos to Tepito exhibition. Later, in 2021, it was displayed at the North Carolina Museum of Art as part of the Talent Within Exhibition.
