Eco Wonders is an experience content crafted by Animation.Monks & Experience.Monks for the GMR Group. The film, which premiered end of 2023, is currently being showcased on the T3 & T2, IGI Airport's LED screen (Delhi, India), captivating both international and domestic travellers.
Our primary objective with this project was to celebrate and showcase the remarkable ecological wonders present in our ecosystem. The cinematic showcase will take you to the wonders of the ecosystem we built with the power of Unreal Engine and the Human Craft.
Leveraging the power of Unreal Engine 5, we skilfully crafted a stunning visual journey. The film begins by depicting a barren land that magically transforms into a vibrant, lush green forest teeming with life. This captivating natural habitat showcases a wide variety of flora and fauna, highlighting the intricate interplay between different species.
Screen Resolution Challenge: We were tasked with a significant challenge in adapting the film to an unusual screen resolution of 48,640 x 1080. To overcome this hurdle, we ingeniously divided the content into six screens, each with a resolution of 3480 x 432. These screens were meticulously stitched together, forming an expansive strip that beautifully displayed the wonders of our ecosystem.
We used Virtual Reality setups to preview the outputs and plan the compositions so they work seamlessly for the final experience along with internal and client previews in the real scale, even before the actual setup on the location.
The team worked on custom setups to procedurally build and craft the forest in Unreal for a quick turnaround and to art direct the scene according the super wide and unique composition.
Our team meticulously studied and recreated various environments, meticulously animating 3D animals in both the foreground and background. Through intricate modelling, rigging, and texturing, we achieved lifelike representations of these animals, paying close attention to every detail, from their fur to their movements.
