Very Verdant Valley

Very Verdant Valley is a level created for the fictional game Elements of Infinity, a fantasy game set in the future. The hero of my version of this game, Trace Halyard, makes her living as a virtual tour guide, using modern and slightly futuristic technology to give clients a virtual reality experience as she travels to obscure and dangerous locations. 
This level is meant to be an example of a place Trace might take her clients to, virtually speaking. Here she would encounter obstacles to traverse, creatures to battle or beguile, an ancient castle with a treasure inside, and an escape through the desert.
The environment was sculpted in Unreal and textured with designs created in Photoshop.
The trees, rocks, bridge, and castle were modeled and textured using Maya and Mudbox.
The water elements were created using Unreal's Water and Water Extras plugins.
I had originally intended to use brighter, more saturated colors, but after playing around with the post-processing I found a sky and water combination I really liked and it demanded a more washed-out, low contrast tone.
