Sample Advertisement for 35th Anniversary of Super Mario Bros
One of my works in our Marketing Advertisement Class. We were assigned to do an add with a special meaning. I came out with an idea of "What defines a best kind of friendship?" and proceed to an idea of developing friendship through video games.
Why Mario and Bowser? Yup, I know they are enemies, Bowser if Mario's final boss in most of the Mario Bros games. But why do you think Mario still include Bowser to some games such as Mario Kart and Mario Party where they just chill and play/race with each other. I came up with a thought that even though that Bowser is Mario's enemy, Mario still treats him as a friend in the end. After all most friendship begins from rivalry and that kind of friendship becomes stronger overtime.
I did this add featuring the Nintendo Switch console since it's Nintendo's latest console in the market. The Mario Bro's game series is also one of the most famous video game titles from Nintendo. I also used the "Paper" style that came up from Paper Mario to make it more appealing for children.
