Brisbane Roar - Redesign Concept
This is an unofficial redesign concept for the Australian A-League club Brisbane Roar.
A part time project that started as an idea for a tattoo but developed into something more. The idea was to incorporate the original branding so that it would be immediately recognisable, yet I wanted it to form part of a more traditional style that included modern design elements. Along with the use of semiotics to help transfer meaning into a design that fans and players could be proud of.

Concepts
This diagram shows my thoughts and the research that went in to this design to make sure that it represents something meaningful. The main concepts were the anagram shield, the twin lions, and the story bridge.

I shaded this in more of tattoo style, as this was my initial intention for the design.
