The St. Lawrence University economics major requires the completion of at least nine to 12 units in economics.
 
The minimum requirements include the completion of courses discussing introductions to economics, intermediate micro- and macroeconomic theory, and quantitative methods. However, certain courses can be substituted or omitted with the completion of advanced placement credit or similar courses. Students must maintain at least a 2.0 grade point average for all university courses and for all economics courses. They must also complete specific economics courses at St. Lawrence University before finishing their junior year.
