This was my first time designing an invitation (save-the-date) entirely comprised of my hand-lettering and the fact that it was inspired by Dancehall signs which are traditionally hand-painted made it all the more special. I love that this couple decided to add a nod to their Jamaican heritage and culture in this way.

The bride had already gotten the formal invitations done traditionally by another designer but they wanted something different for the Save-the-Dates. We decided to stick with black & white (rather than the typical vibrant colours seen in Dancehall signage) since this felt more cohesive with their overall wedding theme. They ended up selecting two designs to get printed and sent to different guests.
