Rebranding of 3D GRIPINSKY: Charismatic Logo and Brand Identity

3D Gripinsky is a large school in the CIS, which specializes in teaching 3d modeling and work in 3dmax. 
The unique feature of the school lies in the strong personal brand of the founder, fundamental and systematic approach to training, really successful students who make "photographic" quality work. That is why in the logo symbol we decided to reflect the formula "creativity + 3D + systematic approach" as a new brand meaning, keeping the charismatic image of the school founder.

The created symbol became emotional and at the same time readable. It is easy to remember, because the number 3 is the prototype of the founder. We also created the positioning "Academy of Three-Dimensional Arts", which is reflected in the volume of the logo. 

The font part of the logo is also not boring. We tried to keep the dynamics in the font, which very literally reflects the essence of learning: it is not a monotonous and primitive process, but a whole journey, a journey that is full of students' efforts, a lot of attempts on the way to the perfect result.




Based on evidence-based design methodology, we conducted a detailed design research of competitors, the market and trends. As a result, we discovered that the most used color of the sphere is black. Therefore, in the color palette we decided to use two accent colors that highlight the brand and look quite strict.

But the most unexpected insight we got: competitors mostly use images related to modeling, which are understood by already experienced people from this sphere. But it's better to show images that are understandable to newcomers.

We also created a pattern system that reveals the main product of the school. Since the training itself consists of 4 levels, each pattern symbolizes a certain block and reflects the "progress in learning".
