Abstract Patterns in Traditional Art
For this piece, I experimented with hand-drawn patterns, layouts, and outlining to achieve a dynamic interplay of contrasting elements. The goal was to create an abstract composition that captures the essence of harmony within diversity.

The initial step in this project involved creating pencil sketches. After refining concepts in pen, I selected two designs for their appealing pattern contrast. I really liked the contrast of the patterns. These chosen designs were then cut into squares.

I experimented with various layouts, facing a challenge due to the contrasting patterns. Overcoming this by seeking feedback and generating numerous layout ideas, I chose the final pattern for its visually interesting yet intentional appearance.

I explored hand-drawn patterns, layouts, and outlining for a lively interplay of contrasting elements. Using a lightbox, I replicated the chosen pattern and experimented until the final piece emerged—a visually compelling narrative reflecting harmony within diversity. Although time-consuming, the intentional pattern selection and meticulous layout resulted in a rewarding artwork.
