Tasked with creating explainer videos for two distinct arms of the University of Nebraska Foundation, our challenge was to engage both longstanding and potential philanthropists. The projects required a delicate balance of honoring tradition while appealing to a new, younger demographic.

The explainer videos for the Trustees Fund of Nebraska and Women Investing in Nebraska (WIN) successfully navigated the complexities of engaging a diverse audience. For the Trustees Fund, the challenge was to distill a wealth of information into an impactful narrative, while for WIN, it was about bridging generational gaps without losing the essence of its mission. The final products were not only informative and visually appealing but also succeeded in resonating with their respective audiences, thereby strengthening the philanthropic community's commitment to the University of Nebraska. Formed in 2011, WIN unites women in philanthropy, pooling resources to support innovative projects across Nebraska. By 2023, WIN had granted over $1.7 million to various initiatives, showcasing the power of collective giving.

The primary challenge was to create content that resonated with WIN's established members (primarily aged 55+) while also attracting a younger audience. By leveraging WIN's appealing brand colors, we developed a contemporary design style with a soft and airy vibe. This approach allowed us to create a visual narrative that was both respectful of WIN's legacy and inviting to newer, younger members

Since 1936, the Trustees Fund of Nebraska has played a critical role in advancing the University of Nebraska's mission. Through advocacy and generosity, trustees have supported various university priorities, contributing to the state's growth and prosperity.

The Trustees Fund video required condensing a vast amount of information into a digestible format, which initially led to an overly lengthy script. Focusing on clear, compelling visuals, we drew inspiration from the WIN project to ensure the video was engaging despite its information density. The final product was a blend of succinct messaging and dynamic imagery, effectively communicating the fund's importance and impact.
