Go for it! is a stop motion animated video for an assignment at university, in response to the concept "how we transform our environment" with a minimum running time of 40 seconds, with an aim to hopefully inspire those who are still hesitating to do their life mission, hesitating to realize their dreams, and fear of failure to dare to conquer fear and face off prejudice to transform to a better happier version.
Logline
An urban girl, who is depressed and worried about her sexuality, finds the motivation to change her appearance, in order to truly be herself.
Synopsis
An anxious girl enters her room and sits on the bed. She looks at her hands, feeling frustrated in her girly body. Then she looks at the pictures on the wall, where keeps her beautiful memorable moments. Football is her favorite sport and she finds it so comfortable in the manly football shirt. Looking back at her messy room, which implies her chaotic mind, she feels urged to change her appearance now. So she starts sweeping the dust and trash off the house. At the same time, she decides to cut her hair short. Finally, when looking at her neat and tidy room, she, with her new appearance, stands confidently and feels so happy about her decisions.
