I've been taking digital painting classes to improve my weak environment skills. Here's a couple of exercises I've done. Not happy with the results but excited about the improvements.
Robot Cowboy. (Without blur)
With blur. The blur makes the character stand out, but it makes the backgound look too rough. The lack of details in it make it look average either way, but it's something I'll improve in the future.
