Winter Downeast
Winters in Downeast, Maine are unforgiving and often fluctuate between prolonged bouts of ice and snow and shorter pockets of little precipitation and bitter cold. During these long, bleak months few members of the resident faunal community stick around and those that do - such as otters, Chickadees, and even Bald Eagles - show an immense dose heartiness and resourcefulness.
