Iceland: Collection III (Glacial)

The third collection of Icelandic landscapes taken during my trip to the Southern Highlands region in July 2014. This time concentrating on what appeared to be a meteorological phenomenon, the Mýrdalsjökull glacier, specifically the Entujökull area. This huge glacier cap covers the Katla Volcano, which if scientists are to be believed is overdue an eruption (it had been rumbling the week before too). During our trek around the nearby landscape we had witnessed that the glacier seemed to create it's own weather such that when it was cloudy and raining everywhere else, the glacier would be bathed in sunlight, quite incredible to witness.
