Organized by OX Warehouse Macao, the “Art in Community Project-Art Lands on the Bird Paradise” is a sequel of the “Art Lands on the Bird Paradise- Community Art Project” initiated last year. Drawing experience from the project of 2013, the current programs strive to foster greater interactions between the participating creative artists and the singular culture of Horta da Mitra district. The “Tou Tei (Earth God) Cult” has been chosen as the theme of 2014’s project, with “handicraft workshops” and “exhibitions of works” as the highlights.
The event promotion includes graphic design of handicraft workshops and exhibitions of works as well as the exhibition design. The design image was not only consisted of the theme but also inspired by some of conventional ceremony, such as the candle texture from the people who goes to a temple to pray to express idea of the event .
The exhibition is in the stage of Tou Tei (Earth God) temple which locate in Horta da Mitra district, solving the problem about to surmounted the limited space, different handicraft size and so on. At last we took measures in spatial arrangement and works concordance so that the passerby feel easy to get to the exhibition to enjoy.
