FROM MY HEAD TO THE WARDROBE

From as far back as I can remember, there's always been a spark in me when it comes to envisioning outfits. Whether it's for a special event I've just been invited to or simply to escape the humdrum of reality, my mind naturally gravitates towards fashion fantasies. As I grew older, I found solace in these reveries during uncomfortable moments, mundane days, or when faced with life's challenges. They became my refuge, my lullaby, my playground of make-believe.

But it wasn't just about fashion anymore. It became a symphony of creativity, where I could blend pieces from different realities a skirt spotted on a passerby combined with a necklace glimpsed in a jewelry store window I saw a month ago all woven seamlessly in my mind's eye. Yet, with time, I realized there was a problem. Every outing turned into an opportunity for me to conjure up outfits so fantastical that they bordered on the surreal.

Then came a revelation, during a class in university or perhaps in conversation with a colleague, where I learned about the intricacies of our minds. How they're wired to engage in automatic processes to preserve our sanity, spending more than half of our waking hours lost in the spectrum of imagination. We all do it envisioning our dream wedding as a love ballad sounds, crafting the perfect job while binge watching a series, or planning our future birthday amidst the laughter of friends.

And oh, I was forgetting the details! The hues of our imaginary wedding flowers, the dimensions of our dreamed apartment, the very color of our decorations, and the warmth of an imaginary lover's smile.

It was then that I decided to elevate my "outfit imagination," as my partner fondly calls it, to new heights. I wanted to share with the world the sheer joy I found in these sartorial flights of fancy, embracing the magic and talent inherent in our ability to not just daydream but making those our real life scenarios.
