Chalice of Initiation

On this 3D project I based my inspiration on the esoteric work of Manly P Hall, The Secret Teachings of All Ages.
Last year I had the pleasure to visit Portugal. The Chalice of Initiation is a direct inspiration on the Initiation Well (or Inverted Towers) in Quinta da Regaleira near the historic center of Sintra, Portugal. This 3D scene is my visual representation of the symbolic spiral staircase in form of a chalice. The entire historic site is riddled with symbols and architecture related to alchemy, hermetic, masonic, the Knights Templars and the Rosicrucians.
Philosophy is the science of estimating values. The superiority of any state or substance over another is determined by philosophy. By assigning a position of primary importance to what remains when all that is secondary has been removed, philosophy thus become the true index of priority or emphasis in the realm of speculative thought. The mission of philosophy a priori is to establish the relation of manifested things to their invisible ultimate cause or nature.
