One of my favorite photographs I ever took is below! It was of the water flowing over the rocks of Queensboro Brook on March 31, 2019. Queensboro Brook was created from water flowing over the Silver Mine Dam of Sillve Mine Lake.
On January 25, 2024, I went back looking for the same spot. I could not find the same place. The depth of the water may have kept me from finding it.
Silver Mine Lake was named for a Spanish Silver Mine supposedly near by that was the reported burial place of Captain Kidd’s treasure.
