Nautilus Art Museum
Architecture and Interior Design

This art museum would be located on the shore of Lake Paranoá, in Brasília. The building's envelope is a double-curved surface inspired by the shell of the nautilus mollusk. This biomimetic design is based on the resistant spiral shape which is divided into multiple internal chambers. The structure was configured in a metallic grid, superimposed on the organic form. The museum has a dedicated area for paintings (ground floor), a space for the exhibition of sculptures and installations (first floor), and an art and design souvenir shop. The building also offers a multimedia room for meetings and an area for technical storage (collection storage and organization of future events).
