Brief: The Emma Children’s Hospital in Amsterdam takes amazing care of often seriously ill children. To continue its mission and provide them with the best possible care, it needs to invest in scientific research and new medical equipment. We felt the Emma deserved more than a straightforward fundraising campaign. It needed an idea that would structurally improve the hospital. Campaign: Our solution was simple and effective. A plaster, to make the Emma better. A tangible product that symbolizes the way the Emma cares for children and that results in direct funding. For every pack we sell, two euros goes to the hospital. And every plaster that gets stuck on an arm, hand or cheek, creates awareness for the Emma. Results: Within a week we’d sold more than 25.000 packages of Emma Plasters. And the PR-value of the campaign had reached 450.000 euros. That’s just the beginning. The Emma Plaster is still on offer, helping the hospital now and in the future.
