without a festival of pickled flavors, every one of them carefully stored in an inviting jar. The elemental alignment of flavors - sour, umami, salty, sweet, and bitter - has been a tale embodied for generations.

These customary principles serve us as not just mere cooking instruction, but an inspirational muse for our visual canvas. The color palette springs to life vibrantly, resonating the symbolic significance of the flavors.

Kế thừa nét văn hóa khăn trải bàn đặc s sắc của Việt Nam, tôi phát triển 4 chiếc khăn trải bàn với hơi thở đương đại để có thể kết nối với các hủ đồ chua. Tập trung vào các rau củ quả có thể dùng ngâm chua được, sắp xếp chúng vui đùa cùng nhau trên 4 gam màu dịu mắt hơn !

Tablecloth of Festive Flavours

In a nod to the distinctive tablecloth traditions of Vietnam, I've designed four modern tablecloths that beautifully complement pickle jars. The designs prominently showcase various fruits and vegetables suitable for pickling, playfully arranged on a backdrop of four soothing hues!

Every project is a new learning experience for my team and me. On this occasion, our aim was to create an exquisite tablecloth. Our research led us to the cinch of heat press printing on fabrics. The impeccable sharpness of print this technique offered was simply perfect for our photo shoot !

"Thịt mỡ, dưa hành, câu đối đỏ" là các yếu tố đặc trưng của ngày tết Nguyên đán cổ truyền Việt Nam thường không thể thiếu món dưa hành. Nền ẩm thực đặc trưng của người Việt ưa thích những món ăn chua, có tác dụng giải nhiệt, giúp giảm vị mặn hay ngọt khi ăn kèm với các món thức ăn chính.

Thời nay dù biết rằng những món ăn này không tốt theo y học, nhưng đây vẫn là một nét văn hoá mà mỗi khi xuân về bên bàn ăn ngày tết không thể thiếu !

In the heart of the Vietnamese Lunar New Year festivities, pickled onions join the ranks of "fatty meat and red couplets," asserting their place as an irreplaceable feature of the traditional celebrations. The characteristic sour taste of Vietnamese cuisine, noted particularly in these pickled dishes, provides a cooling counterbalance to the more intense salty or sweet flavors that permeate the main courses.
Modern times may have brought with them medical advisories against such indulgences, but the enduring charm of this cultural element remains unabated. Year after year, as springtime heralds in the New Year, these pickles maintain their revered spot on the dinner table, making the occasion truly complete!
