The pronunciation and orthographic system of Chinese characters have undergone a long and complex evolution throughout history. From the Ming Dynasty to the establishment of the People's Republic of China, numerous movements aimed at reforming Chinese characters have emerged, including the well-known initiatives to promote simplified characters and pinyin. These historical events have profoundly influenced the modern linguistic and textual landscape of China. However, comprehensive research on this evolution remains sparse. This study aims to fill this gap by extensively examining historical documents and related materials to uncover the intersections between Chinese character reform movements and various societal fields. By exploring the visual communication aspects of Chinese character reform, this study investigates the close ties between the issues surrounding Chinese characters and fields such as printing technology, communication, and visual design. The result is an integrated research report on modern Chinese characters and their related domains. The study seeks to review the history of Chinese character reform, understand the origins and evolution of the issues surrounding Chinese characters, and provide valuable insights for future research on language and textual communication.
In the age of artificial intelligence, the relationship between Chinese characters and technology is becoming increasingly prominent. Protecting and preserving Chinese character culture in this context is an urgent issue. Can historical experiences offer inspiration for contemporary challenges? What stance should written characters take in the AI era? These open-ended questions guide the ultimate direction of this study. By conducting this research, we hope to provoke deeper reflection on Chinese character issues and provide theoretical and practical guidance for the future protection, inheritance, and innovation of Chinese characters.
漢字の発音や表記システムは、歴史上、長く複雑な変遷を経てきました。明朝から新中国の成立に至るまで、漢字の改革運動が次々と行われ、その中には私たちがよく知る簡体字とピンインの推進も含まれています。これらの歴史的な出来事は、現代中国の言語文字エコシステムに深い影響を与えました。しかしながら、この変遷に関する包括的な研究は依然として体系的に行われていません。本研究は、このギャップを埋めることを目的とし、広範な歴史文献と関連資料を調査することで、漢字改革運動と社会各分野との相互影響を明らかにします。そして、漢字改革の視覚伝達の観点から、漢字問題と印刷技術、通信、視覚デザインなどの分野との密接な関係を探求し、近現代中国の漢字およびその関連分野に関する包括的な研究報告を提供します。本研究は、漢字改革の歴史を振り返り、漢字問題の起源と変遷を理解することで、将来の言語文字伝達研究に有益な参考資料を提供することを目指しています。
人工知能の時代において、漢字と技術の関係はますます顕著になっており、この背景下で漢字文化を保護し伝承する方法が急務の課題となっています。過去の歴史が現代に対してどのような示唆を与えるのか、人工知能時代において文字はどのような姿勢で対応すべきかというのが本研究の最終的なオープンクエスチョンです。本研究を通じて、漢字問題に対する深い考察を促し、将来の漢字の保護、伝承および革新に関する理論的および実践的な指針を提供したいと考えています。
汉字的发音、表记系统在历史上经历了漫长而复杂的演变过程，从明朝至新中国成立，关于汉字的改革运动层出不穷，其中包括我们熟知简化字和拼音的推行。这些历史事件深刻影响了现代中国的语言文字生态系统。然而，对于这一演变的综合研究仍然缺乏系统性。本研究立足于填补这一空白，通过广泛调查历史文献和相关资料，揭示汉字改革运动与社会各领域的交叉影响。并从汉字改革的视觉传达角度出发，探讨了汉字问题与印刷技术、通信和视觉设计等领域的紧密联系，呈现了一份近现代中国汉字及其相关领域的综合研究报告。本研究旨在回顾汉字改革的历史，理解汉字问题的来源和演变，以期为未来的语言文字传达研究提供有价值的参考报告。
在人工智能时代，汉字与技术之间的关系愈发凸显，如何在此背景下保护和传承汉字文化成为亟待解决的问题。过去的历史能否对当代提供启发，人工智能时代文字又应该以何种姿势去应对，是本研究最终导向的开放式提问。通过本研究，希望能够引发对汉字问题的深入思考，并为未来的汉字保护、传承和创新提供理论和实践的指导。
